African Restaurant Week is a premier citywide food festival that celebrates the best in African cuisine and culture. Since launching in New York in 2013 with a handful of restaurants and increasing enthusiasm, we have grown into a 2-week thrilling celebration, with over 25 participating restaurants in Manhattan.Brooklyn, Bronx and Queens offering discounted prix-fixe traditional African/African inspired menus.
Expansion – this year our 9th year we would be expanding to a few more cities – full schedule to be announced soon.
African Restaurant Week is a celebration of African cuisine, restaurants, and chefs, it’s a promotion of diverse voices in the global culinary movement – both celebrity and emerging, it’s a commitment to community development and social impact, and we’re inviting everyone to be part of it..
